Service Beyond the Clinic

Dr. DeZeeuw has made service part of his career, too. He led a team of volunteers with ReSpectacle, a program that cleans, catalogs, and redistributes donated eyewear to patients who can't afford glasses, and he traveled to Riobamba, Ecuador, to provide medical care to local communities as a medical student volunteer.
